I’M BACK, BITCHES.

Garden of Good and Evil
“The deal is, we leave together and leave the ape here to rot,” the Jailer proposed. “I let you poke around in my head, take tissue samples, whatever, it all grows back. Maybe I even help you out with a few other projects. And you stay out of the way while I sort out my own affairs with her and the Doc.”
The Rani considered it for a moment. It was almost tempting. “No, I don’t think so,” she said finally. “It’s nothing personal, really, I just don’t trust you at all and by killing you, I could easily get my research done, too. Wouldn’t have to worry about you causing any issues, either.”
“Oh, that’s too bad,” the Jailer sighed. “Ah, well, this way’s easier anyway.”
She pulled out the pronged gun and fired on the Rani.Posted on February 9, 2012 via Representing Earth! with 100 notes

Garden of Good and Evil
“Rip up the- oh, I see.” The Jailer facepalmed. “She thinks if I kill the Doctor before she meets him, the universe won’t survive the resulting paradox. Typical human thinking, eh?” She just smirked and got up. “I can show you the inside of my head without you having to use that. It would just grow back. How about we ditch the little demonseed and try to come to a more agreeable arrangement?”
The Rani eyed her curiously and kept the weapon pointed at her. “Hm,” she tilted her head slightly to the side. “Here’s the thing, I’m not exactly sure if I want your plan to carry through anyway. Still want your head, though, so you can talk and I’ll decide whether or not I can agree to whatever deal you can come up with.”

The Jailer forced her off, and Alexa hit her head on a rock, knocked out cold. “Because she’s an idiot,” she growled. “Rani, what are you doing running about with this riff-raff?”
The Rani frowned as she watched Alexa. Humans. Her eyes flickered back to the Jailer, her weapon trained on the woman. “She told me what you were up to,” she replied, “and I sort of have a problem when people are trying to rip apart the universe. Plus, I’ve heard about what you can do. How I would love to open up that head of yours. The things I would learn.”

Starting Over
The Jailer was not listening, on a maternal rampage not unlike that of a mother whose child has been knocked down on the playground. “F@%# YOU AND THE VORTEX YOU RODE IN ON!”
She pulled a wooden knife out of her shirt and made a wild leap at him.
Alexa, meanwhile, noticed that his wild pass with the sonic had managed to jar loose one of her arm restraints, and she was making the most of it.He moved, letting her land on the floor, hoping she’d break the knife before she could use it on him. It didn’t work as he’d hoped, but she couldn’t see what his plan had been and he was glad about that. He dodged and blocked the blind stabs she threw at him quite a few times before he finally knocked the thing out of her hands and knocked her to the ground.
She screamed with fury. “God damn you!”
Alexa dumped out of her restraints all at once, right on top of her. “Damn YOU! Damn YOU, you bitch!”They tussled on the floor, the Jailer fumbling for her weapons, Alexa fumbling to disarm her. “Get my brother out of here!”

The Fool and the Warrior
[jack laughed as he was holographically licked by the dog] love dogs. [he tries perking the dog but fails. Instead he plays with the dog making it chase him short distances while laughing. He stops after a while and looks at her] sorry I just really love dogs. [he smiles]
The Jailer smiled. “If I love anything left in the universe, it’s my Edie.” She patted the hologram affectionately. “Made her and raised her up all on my own.”

Starting Over
The hologram of Edie squealed and blinked out.
The Jailer turned towards the console, then back to the Doc. “You… soniced… Edie’s console.”
Reason suddenly flew out the window as she dropped all her weapons and lit into him with her bare hands. “YOU SONICED HER CONSOLE! YOU SON OF A BITCH! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!”He rolled out of the way, letting her hit floor as he got up. “You know she can be repaired, right?” She lunged at him and he spun away like a ballet dancer.

Starting Over
The Jailer stubbornly clung to her weapons, even as her skin smoldered. “Nice try, Doc, but that hasn’t worked for two hundred years.”
She fired the prong gun at him before he could disable it.He threw himself to the floor before the prongs got to him, although he didn’t turn off the screwdriver, letting it damage anything that was in it’s way to the target, her prong gun. He had unfortunately let Edie’s console get in the way and it flashed and sparked towards the Jailer.

Starting Over
“You are SUCH an ass,” she groaned. “All this time I’ve been after you, and you still can’t figure what this is really about. Still convinced it’s all about you.” She clucked her tongue. “To think I used to believe you were smart.”
Jailer chuckled. “Made up your mind yet, Lexy? Or shall I bring back the Dalek to speed things up? Zap zap. Heh heh heh.”He brought the sonic screwdriver up and turned it on, the whine making the metal she was holding on to and on her body heat up. “It’s called a distraction.”

Starting Over
Jailer held tight to her guns. “Doc, you’re utterly missing the point.”
Alexa whimpered. “Just get them out of here, Mum,” she begged, no longer caring if the Doc heard her or not- it was life and death, for heaven’s sake. Keeping secrets would have to wait.
Wait… what had he said?
He knew the Jailer’s history. Which meant he remembered the Jailer. Which meant he remembered…
She raised her head. “Doc?”He winked at her and started talking again. “How am I missing the point? You’re willing to watch me die, again, by the hand of your younger self because I’m not like the one you knew. Why, because I’ve become a thorn in your side by not letting you do as you wish? You sound like a petty little child who whines and complains about not getting the toy she wanted for Christmas.”
